Porridge takes a goodly while for the body to digest, which means it releases its energy more slowly, keeping you feeling fuller for longer. Especially in the colder season, it is one of my favourites. It warms from the inside and also tastes incredibly delicious.
Recipe – Glow Porridge:
Ingredients:
70g cup quinoa flakes
400ml almond milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
1 ripe banana
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tbsp almond flakes
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp raisins
Toppings
Homemade cereal
Cooked apples & blueberries
Preparation
Bring the quinoa flakes and almond milk to boil in a small saucepan.
Meanwhile, stir cinnamon, coconut sugar, vanilla powder, chia seeds and the crushed banana into a bowl.
Mix together and add almond flakes & raisins.
Super simple and easy.
