Everywhere there are canals and wonderful houses, often leaning against each other. Small alleys, colourful markets and of course a never-ending stream of cyclists – the lovely city centre of Amsterdam.
Nice cafes everywhere. The whole city is full of them and here you can hardly be wrong
Dutch cuisine is not exactly known for pure vegetable specialities. Fries without mayo is pretty much the snack highlight. You can find them on every corner

My tips
.
SLA Utrechtsestraat
In search of a vegan dinner spot we had discovered the SLA. All ingredients are versatile and fresh. To put together your own salads, with falafel, humus and much more. A dream.

Dignita Hoftuin
This cafe is a must for all vegans – therefore you should reserve a place. We didn’t do it, but we were kind enough to take a seat at the window. The dishes are so incredibly good that this restaurant will definitely be in my Top 3.

Vegan Junk Food Bar
The bar is located north of Vondelpark and can be easily reached on foot from the city centre. The burgers were incredibly good. And French fries with dip. Never eaten such good vegan fast food before. Taste like a dream. We’ll be back.

Lavinia Good Food
A small restaurant, with cakes, snacks and some hearty dishes. There are mainly vegetarian dishes, but also many vegan dishes. We had some cake and found it so delicious. Roh-Vegan – An absolute rarity in Amsterdam.
