Energy Balls – They don’t stick, look great on any table thanks to various toppings such as coconut flakes, turmeric, chia seeds or similar and disappear with a bite in your mouth.
Whether as a healthy dessert, quick snack or booster for in between – These vegan balls are versatile and super tasty.
The very best thing about healthy chocolates is that they are easy to make.
Recipe – Energy Balls:
250g almonds, coarsely ground
300g dates, pitted and coarsely chopped (chopped)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
Soak the dates overnight in water with a dash of apple vinegar.
Drain in the morning, rinse off dates well and dab off with a towel.
Put all ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.
Form small balls with the palms of your hands and place them on a baking tray (with baking paper).
Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes until slightly golden brown.
Cool down and enjoy
